Cant upload existing photos

Doesnt allow you to upload photos to add the filters. That was the only reason I purchased it--the example of a before and after shot of a photo in the App Store is deceiving. I assumed it was the pic before filters were added and then after, as in,

after filters were added. Not, "set your filter up to take a picture and then edit." Super bummed.
